My parents

chana

Two birds

One trunk

in the middle of an orchard.

Apples swinging in the branches.

Layed an egg in the nest but refused to stay.

For one bird knew how to fly , the other lingered and provided

Divided in nature , they never crossed paths again

For one was born to give life outside of herself

And he was taught to leave.

I love how emotional this was, and how it captured so much in just a few lines. Great work.
