Truths In The Sky

Raine Blair

Butterflies in the air

Flying everywhere

No limits to the sky

I never want to die

Alone in the air

Flying nowhere

Many limits in the sky

All I want is to die

Hopeful in the air

Flying somewhere

Pushing limits in the sky

Because someday ill die

WELCOME RAINE ~ Thanks for your first Poem ~ Very elegant replete with Rhyme & Rhythm and a lovely use of words & repetition ~ nice to recite ! Each STANZA draws gently to the inevitability of Death ! Stanza 1. I too envy the birds & bees & butterflies their extra degrees of and they make me value my LIFE ! S 2. However even in the Sky there are limits (I've tried hang-gliding ~ scary) and it makes us think of Death ! S 3. Carpe Diem ~ Push the limits because ~ perhaps tomorrow we'll all DIE. Thanks for a great POEM ~ More please. Please check my Poems ~ Yours BRIAN (UK) Which US State are you in ?
