Of The Things Stored High
Of the things stored high
Was my favorite baseball glove
And a little bike
That I was so proud of
There were boxes of books
In need of repair
And many heartfelt cards
To those with whom we cared
It was finding treasure
To find old photos too
Of our smiling faces
Forever in our youth
And when we found a prize
We shared it with each other
From daddy’s uniform
To quilts once our cover
After coming down
We knew that it was true
That the days gone by
Could be enjoyed anew

Very true. Those things of the past that we find can bring back the most wondrous memories.
Yes, goldfinch. Where would we be without our memories.
A fine write w c.
