Poetic Dan

What life and you
Have taught me

The truth will always
Set us free
Everyone will have
Expectations of you
But there is only
One that is true

To do the best
That you can do
Always being perfectly, You!

Happy birthday son
You amazing you

What life and you
Have shown me

All things can be done
No matter the pressure
Only a few things are true

Family, love, singing and
Dancing with all your heart

Never forgetting
how precious you are
You've already made it
Always my superstar

Happy birthday my
Gorgeous daughter

What life and you
Have help me see

We may not get the life we want
But we get the one we need
Our place in this time and space
Is always at perfect harmony

For we all want to be somebody
Only to find out we already was
Live, learn and figure it out
What comes up must come out

I am truly honoured to
Give you a birthday shout
Many happy returns
Young man Gabriel

  • Comment from author about the poem: This year's birthday writes To my 3 guiding lights We many not be in each others life full time But I'm grateful for every moment thats mine. Just adding this song after singing it with all my might, hope you do too. After reading some beautiful comments and wishes on here, I'd like to just say that these are three different writing starting with my son first born Jake and then my daughter Jorja and eneding with my partner son (who I met a few years ago) Gabriel.

Happy birthday to your son, Gabriel! ( love the name)
Great pics! Thank you for sharing!

Your poem was penned with the most valuable ink there in the world...the ink of LOVE!
Your sentiments, your love, your caring heart for your children transcends all! Youā€™re an amazing dad to those two amazing children!

ā€œFor the kids I am raising that help raise meā€...

Truer than true words from the great song by Satsang, ā€œBeautiful Dayā€™sā€!

          Enjoy Gabrielā€™s birthday celebration!šŸŽˆ

Your words are like fresh air, thank you so much. I'm so glad you listened to the song, I love every word in it.

I've add more on why this was written, as it was done in order of how they entered my life, first my son Jake then my daughter Jorja and finally 2 years ago my lovely ladys son Gabriel.

I now feel like I'm complaining or being rude but I guess I should of made it easier to see.

            Thank you again

              Not rude at all!
              I appreciate your
              forthrightness!

              Youā€™re very welcome,
              Dan! šŸ˜Š

A proud son will read this. Whether he perceives the deep soulful man his father is today or in his years to come is beyond anyone's control. But he WILL see words of a caring man. Maybe you're not buying him rich mans trinkets but plain for all to read you're giving of yourself. Your heart, your passion, your love.
              Excellent emotive writing.
