Many of what you talked about reminded me of treats I had back in England. Wonderful bit of writing.

Suicide is NOT the Solution

This poem hit home, cos I found myself in so many situations where I thought suicide was the only way out. It\'s a wonderful piece of poetry, that\'ll help a lot of others out there to make the right decision. Great writing!

Nice work! This one reminded me of Brian\'s Life Of Pie in some ways but I have a huge sweet tooth so cakes and other sweet desserts hit the soft spot for me any time! Well done xx

Very nice poem. Good rhymes. I agree with Augustus in that my favorite line is giving the conscience a hug. Thanks for sharing!

This is just fantastic! I feel like this all thetime. Im 15 and I cant wait to be 16. but its always one step closer to being a mother or getting a job. This poem really touches that spot! also how did you change your picture for your profile? I cant figure it out.

I can really relate to this. It was really hard for me when I turned 30 and Alzheimer\'s runs in my family so I am extremely fearful of that as I grow older. I definitely get what you\'re saying but birthdays, when they come also bring with them a feeling of joy because people put a spotlight on you for the day and sometimes it\'s really nice to feel that. Great poem.

Suicide is NOT the Solution
sonicpoet said:

I liked this . As someone who suffers from depression and went through a hospital stay for suicidal behavior, I can say that many feeling of suicide can come from wanting the pain to end more than anything else. Yes there are those hoping to hurt others when they do it but situations are so different and depression is such an ugly monster that for some suicide really is the only way out that they see. Such is the power and fatality of depression which is why its the sickness it is. I enjoyed reading this.
