I love your metaphor of the struggle of a \"rose seed\" to bloom and of the struggle each of us hasto grow and succeed in Society. The colour and type and fragrance of each rose is encoded in the DNA (genetic blueprint) in its seed ! So it is with us ! It is the DNA from our parents that confers our ~ colour ~ gender ~ appearance ~ character and intelligence ! How a rose develops (and I have grown roses) depends on t soil ~ water ~ sunshine etc. How we achieve our potential also depends on our Environment ~ Family ~ Country ~ Income ~ Education ~ Opportunity etc. You have chosen an excellent analogy ~ thanks for sharing !
