WELCOME KAIT ~ Thanks for your first poem on MPS ! It is really beautiful in both Structure and Subject. Repetition is important in classical poetry and your repeated Why ? One word: You emphasises your premise ~ the it is we ~ her Children ~ who are responsible for much of the pain ans anxiety suffered by our Mothers. I do love my Mum and she is always there for me 24/7 even though I have left home and live in my own flat but i see her several times most weeks !
