WELCOME \"HR\" THANKS FOR YOUR FIRST POEM ~ which is excellent in both its presentation (written style) and message. I agree with your premise that we are responsible to find our \"gift\" and to build our self esteem and self respect. What we are is a gift from GOD & Our Parents ~ what we make of ourselves is our gift back to THEM ! My parents encouraged me and in the UK we have an excellent education system (from the cradle to the grave) and ample opportunity for work (if we valued our education) if we are prepared to work. We all need a little encouragement from Family ~ Friends ~ School ~ Employers and the Church etc ~ personally I got enough ! We must all support each other and don\'t let the Prophets of Doom and the Critics get us down. I am an ENCOURAGER on this site ~ it is very important not to knock people down !
