I can fully understand you getting angry on occasion, I get the same way sometimes, thankfully not very often. Good write.

This is a very powerful and emotional poem. Great imagery. Loved the last line. (The whole poem was great!)

Courage to write on such cruel news and in such terse depth will no doubt aid those yet to face the same stony road so publishing your twenty reflections on coping will surely help others in similar circumstance - - God bless you efforts in this Marjon.

A potent haunt of a read and from experience it reeks of real anger at this cruel thief who takes who we know and eats them piece by piece -- loud applause for sharing this difficult and saddest of times with us Marjon. Keep with your gift of writing dear poet.

Very emotive write. That very first line \"The spitting image of a look alike\" resounds very much with me as my wife is suffering from dementia and she is not the person that I and the kids knew a while ago. I do hope that you are coping well and taking care of yourself as well.

WELCOME TO MPS ~ MARJON ~ You have chosen a very empathetic site ! As you are aware writing poetry is very cathartic and can bring some release and relief in the very difficult circumstances you describe. The poem you have shared is very elegantly penned and its content is apposite to the circumstance. I am not married yet but I have faced similar situations with close friends and it is never easy to witness. Because I am a performance Poet I am often asked to compose a eulogy for a funeral. I find it difficult ~ but cathartic ~ and I am pleased that others have been strengthened by my words. Thanks for caring ~ sharing and being so honest & brave. Every Blessing ~ thinking of you ~ Yours BRIAN ~ UK .

This is stark, as is often befitting dire news. Thank you for sharing your heart and your pen here. I\'m more than sorry for the road you and your husband are walking. You have written volumes in short verses.
