Tonight I Write You Joyous Lines
L. B. Mek said:

\'ocean eyes\'
gifting us a river of words
in this pooling poem
as thanks, to a kindness
that touched a heart, with such presence
its tattooed itself, as a cherished
memento treasure
of life..
a wonderful read, thanks for sharing

L. B. Mek said:

in the cool liquid of the lake
so to be rested
and ready to resume\'..

Lines Written by the Lake
L. B. Mek said:

\'The delicate lull of unhurried boats,
The rapid wings of the birds that circle,
Or the charm of a tongue-tied salute
from a fellow silence-loving passerby.

Thoughts here are deep,

As deep as the waters that surround and serenade,
And though sound here is fiction,
More is said and spoken,\'..
(nature\'s wisdom: infinite
our capacity to notice, limitless
how much, do we actually observe and utilise
far - far, too little..)
thanks for sharing

Writing Born of Contentment
L. B. Mek said:

\'The view is vast,
And the hills tall enough to question comprehension.
A fine summer’s day is unparalleled,
When all the world’s charms combine and combust.\'
(wonderfully worded
of those small bites of wondrous Nature
that fuel our defiant hopes,
\'exiguous\': indeed!)
thanks for choosing to share, such a poetically nourishing read

Oh Not To Be A Seagull
L. B. Mek said:

\'All that commotion for a scrap of bread,
I won’t ever understand it,
I’m not convinced they do.

Though I’m sure they eat handsomely, the seagulls,
They always seem to want more,
Their greed unchallenged by a limit.\'
(so insightful
it\'s verging: on that cyclically prophetic
of all-things
ancestrally bequeathed - pulsating hematic...)
Brilliant!

Shattered Anamnesis
FredPeyer said:

I too had to look up that word. Found two meanings: 1. remembering things from a previous lifetime, 2. account of medical history.
Am assuming you are referring to memories of past lifetimes.
The opening line is great, also like the line \'I fear crystals will never be clear again\'.
Well written, I do like your poem!

This poem is simply amazing, S.!
Read it a few times. The last stanza is so good, it could stand on its own. You are an incredible writer.
