Yes, short and to the point, but with a lot of meaning and truth. I have a daughter too, now grown and married, but as a teenager she went through different stages. Always came back to her own true self though. I think the changes were mainly influenced by peer pressure.
Well written and meaningful poem!

A beautiful poetic expression that all young girls should take to heart. One can try to hide what is in the heart to no avail The true self, usually more than enough, always shines through. Fine offering, Charles!

I don\'t include a quote with every one of my comments, but this made me recall: \'What a person is before God, that he/she is, and no more\'. (St Francis of Assisi ). A fine write C.

We have all been in this place! As you\'ve penned with loveliness, we have to become more aware of all of our blessings. I love picturing love as the oil that greases those rusty cogs. Fine write.

Very beautiful poem Charles, since it is beautiful, is it also dangerous?
I tend to think that beautiful things ARE worth the risk.

Home is what any house becomes when the family move in, it can be hard to leave a particular house but that is all it is, a house, a home is that place that is found when families move in.

Dear Charles
I can feel the love you have for your daughter and for God at the same time. What a wonderful writer you are. Keep writing I enjoy your work and would like to read more of it. It is wonderful that you are embracing your daughter now. My children are adults now and the time passes so quickly. Quality time is a wonderful thing and in life sometimes we have to do other things like working. Time stops for no one. Hugs Micalina
