WELCOME FRANK ~ Thanks for your first POEM in praise of the 2017 American Total Eclipse. In the UK we are so jealous but we have had awesome pictures all day on TV. I think GOD wanted us to be able (before the days of Telescopes and Astronomy) to be able to glimpse at Aura of the Sun as she shyly hid behind the MOON The Bible says God made the Moon and because it is 400 times smaller than the SUN but 400 times nearer the Earth it can blot out the SUN ~ simple ! Primitive Man ~ during an eclipse ~ would be able to see the Aura and Atmosphere of the Sun etc behind the MOON. We know so much more now but are still overawed by a Solar Eclipse ! Saw a good eclipse of the sun in the UK in 1999.
