I can empathise because I am a Student Counsellor and Lecturer in a Vocational College and i work with the YMCA and the local SOUP RUN. One sees ones fellow Human Beings in various stages of dependency & decay ~ sometimes one feels helpless because in essence to BE CLEAN they must want to BE CLEAN ! Your poem is very challenging because it describes \"THE LAST TIME\" We dont know when that is no more than the ADDICT and some are much too young to die !
