A sad tale which seems all to familiar. Why does wisdom take so long to mature? You tell of human nature in youthful desires, and deception, manipulation.
Aye, all too familiar for me.

Outstanding!

The format was a lot different but was automatically changed when I pasted it and wouldn’t let me alter it for some unknown reason

I must say that I found this rather difficult to read/follow but that say\'s more about my visual impairment and the way my brain works than about the way you have structured this post... N

No one knows how many ticks & ticks there are in ones life. The best we can do is to live in the moment, and do the best we know how.

I don\'t know if you meant to write in this format, but positively a very interesting read.

That place is there for all of us all we need to do is see the light in the darkness and it will pull us forward.
Good positive write.

Those thoughts that come while sleeping do disturb so much in sleeping but I think that I msut be lucky as although they can wake me I can quickly go back to sleep. It must be hard if they are neer ending.

Thanks for your comments, I don’t suffer too much, I’ve had an overactive mind all my life so I am use to it now.

I know full well how chronic insomnia gets us to a screaming point - your words struck home - do hope things get better soon -- I took the notion that I do not need as much time in bed as I thought and getting up and writing or reading for a while in the night seems to work in tiring my brain into sleep for a short time again..Hoping this may help you Frederick.

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed reading and I almost felt it echoing some of my own words. Even the patterning. I’ll check the title of the poem it could almost be the other half to.

Funnily I was thinking less of the act of the physical act of sleep as I read but of the battle between sleeping through life and denial and escaping through dreams.
