Rest In Peace, Hazel - Part III
orchidee said:

A lovely girl. Some people get \'replacement\' pets, or after a while.
I don\'t think it would be betraying or forgetting her memory, as we wouldn\'t ever do that, but there\'s comfort in a new pet too, I would say.

Sweet Hazel!
Sometimes we\'ve rushed out an go a \'replacement\' pet, yet not forgetting the pet that has passed away.
Some people may not want to get a replacement pet straight away though.

Battered Wife

A true write R.
Yet in a course I\'m doing, it says there are more battered MEN than women, in some countries.
I\'m reading some ghastly forensic details.

Fireworks On The 4th
SirStellar said:

I admire that you portrayed various aspects of Independence Day, with not only the fireworks — the scare-factor of both setting them off and hearing them — but also the connections between the past, the present, and the future. Overall, your work engagingly conveyed the pride and excitement that July 4th is all about. Great job!

A touching poem indeed,
None can do mom\'s deed,
During times of need,
She will work with speed,
To make none bleed,
To God, she will plead,
Love-list, mom will lead!

orchidee said:

Yes, it was very good! We have recordings of many of the episodes.
So-called \'comedy\' is rubbish these days - most of it, I think. Stand-up comedians are worse.
It\'s advertised in appalling trailers as: \'Comedy coming soon on TV\'. I yell at the TV: \'Where\' and \'When?\' as in \'Laugh; I never started\'. lol.

One Bullet Ended It All
mvvenkataraman said:

Extraordinary poem indeed,
Amazed by the lovely rhyme,
Unbelievably wonderful,
But, the subject matter
Brings tears to my eyes,
Such a thing mustn\'t happen,
Even in dreams by chance,
It chills my body to freeze,
Once again I am jealous
Of your startling talent,
But agonized by the story,
God alone must bless
All must always follow
The last-line advice truly.

She\'s Paying The Price
L. B. Mek said:

(thank you! for choosing to share)
An important topic
A vital warning, for all to heed
An especially vital message
during these festive days
where we all like to believe, it won\'t
happen to us:
\'\'DO NOT DRIVE
IF YOU FEEL, IN ANYWAY
LESS LAERT THAN USUAL
VALUE LIFE
Walk, take a Cab or Bus!
It\'s NEVER, EVER
worth the RISK...\'\'
