Rest In Peace, Mom - Part VI
mvvenkataraman said:

A touching poem indeed,
None can do mom\'s deed,
During times of need,
She will work with speed,
To make none bleed,
To God, she will plead,
Love-list, mom will lead!

A very nice tribute to your mom....I can relate, I lost my mom 9 years ago. It affects us all differently but it\'s such a difficult thing to endure....

On The Buses

Yes, it was very good! We have recordings of many of the episodes.
So-called \'comedy\' is rubbish these days - most of it, I think. Stand-up comedians are worse.
It\'s advertised in appalling trailers as: \'Comedy coming soon on TV\'. I yell at the TV: \'Where\' and \'When?\' as in \'Laugh; I never started\'. lol.

One Bullet Ended It All
mvvenkataraman said:

Extraordinary poem indeed,
Amazed by the lovely rhyme,
Unbelievably wonderful,
But, the subject matter
Brings tears to my eyes,
Such a thing mustn\'t happen,
Even in dreams by chance,
It chills my body to freeze,
Once again I am jealous
Of your startling talent,
But agonized by the story,
God alone must bless
All must always follow
The last-line advice truly.

She\'s Paying The Price
L. B. Mek said:

(thank you! for choosing to share)
An important topic
A vital warning, for all to heed
An especially vital message
during these festive days
where we all like to believe, it won\'t
happen to us:
\'\'DO NOT DRIVE
IF YOU FEEL, IN ANYWAY
LESS LAERT THAN USUAL
VALUE LIFE
Walk, take a Cab or Bus!
It\'s NEVER, EVER
worth the RISK...\'\'

What a lovely poem that is clear in its meaning!
It touches the heart to give rancorous thoughts,
Your mother or every mother is with God,
Thanks for this heart-soothing poem dear!

Sorry to hear. And glad that there are words to clothe the inexpressible otherwise. I too have relations that have gone that way from various types of cancer. Not easy for us or them.

Oh that speaks to realisations of the heart as we were growing up and learning our rights and wrongs and goods and bads and finding out that some of the things purported to be truth and useful to actually be self contradictory and downright false. Thanks for sharing.
