The apple redeemed by blood

a great read!
I\'m sure I\'m incapable of grasping the many nuances
you\'ve weaved so intricately within your delectable lyrics,
but from what I have been able to comprehend
I\'ve thoroughly enjoyed..

Totally beyond my comprehension/understanding, Makoto - I think the penultimate stanza may have something....I really would like to know what you mean...
Thanks for posting it up here - it gives food for thought.

Great imaginative write, but the Darjeeling surely should be given more that two minutes. Anyway someone was on something much stronger than that.... :-)

All of the world will turn black like a rotting apple
L. B. Mek said:
a wonderful write, detailed in its explicit scope to penetrate our duality of innate sensibilities..
but dear poet, the ying and yang of life
is not limited to a concept
where white is all-good
and black is all-bad
true, what\'s rotten will indeed - sicken
but not all darkness
represents our doorway to a closed path
better, I feel - to simply accept
that blackness we all harbour
and confront - it, before
our ignorance, feeds - it
and we are reduced to mere contaminated carriers
of that same plague
we point out - dutifully: in others
while mirroring, their very actions...

You are not a Slave

To me this is two separate poems - the first I can relate to: the second, now while I\'ve experienced some fairly extreme environments, never anything halfway as excessive as that. Thus I find it hard to connect with.
Interesting write though, Makoto.
