A Decision re: grad school
L. B. Mek said:
\'She simply pointed
with her questions\'
*while snapping away - at yearning\'s frame, stilled - time*
\'I will go to France
to Toulouse where I will
lose\'
*to shed this unrequited - state, free myself
and find, a new muse - to life: for me*
(forgive me for borrowing your beautiful words and rudely interpreting them, to inspire my own feeble creativity)
stay safe dear youthful poet and hope you have a great time
jump on a train and visit our dear little blighty, when you\'re free
stay clear of London
and you\'re sure to have a memorable time, I guarantee

You will be following the great tradition of the Grand Tour, where you will imbibe great cultural ideas and perspectives. So absorb it all.....and please be a good boy scout... :-)
Good luck.

#60 After Frankl
L. B. Mek said:
before proclaiming, I find it best
to find a context
to my knowledge and experience of the word: suffering,
then attribute the level I invest into my laments: accordingly
that way, I need not be reprimanded by fate
when true suffering, passes me - by
with a vibrant smile plastered, on its: flag of defiance...

Good write Liam.

Got that experientially - the challenge to yourself, the fear, your watching friends, the relief - felt it all. Nice neat write.

Goodness, yes. One does find oneself pawing and whimpering at the door, and that can be exciting and compelling... but sometimes you just want to lie on the porch and feel content to bask quietly in the sun.
