Show me the truth

\'ban all my doubts and my need for proof\'..
what more is there, to hope-anchored: faith?
what a wonderfully poetic prayer, you\'ve shared dear poet..
(a non-invasive, write
as a declaration of your chosen belief/religion
worded so that anyone can appreciate it
and more meaningfully, a pointedly inclusive read: to all
even those, who may not align with your theological belief\'s
exactly how it should be, in my humble opinion)

An important question Sandra. In my beliefs I KNOW that My Spirit is with me and has and will be there from and to infinity.
May your God go with you.

Thank you for such a beautiful reply.
I have loved writing from being a very young child, I found it gave me a place to go in difficult times and allowed me to make believe anything was possible.
My grammar and spelling I know is not perfect but my imagination is on point and that is why I love writing.
Thank you

I\'m 28 and I have always tried to listen to my elders, it\'s the main cause of my love for history.
We are all stories and what\'s a better read than a life well lived.
Thank you for sharing.

Such an enjoyable, relateable read today. My aging mind and aching frame know only too well the truth of your words.
It was enjoyable to sit with my son and his mother, my ex, and listen as she told of the young man she had fallen in love with and grew with. It was wonderful to sit with my late mother and hear of the young woman with a career before being swept off her feet by my father, then a suave naval officer in WW2.
Yes, we are those young people still and with a lifetime of experience. Though our young may hear our words, they must indeed learn for themselves. As it should be.
Welcome to MPS. We\'re quite a friendly bunch and enjoy commenting upon each others poetry. Please join in and leave comments about any you see... I welcome comments on my scribblings.

Such very true words Sandra, the youngsters do not want to listen to the older people who can help them - they know it all!
