Here here, plse have a peep at my post \'easy\' on here today which really is in the same vein as your message.
I guess it\'s what we lose which makes us appreciate what we have.

I have a friend who has been going through this abuse by her partner and has eventually had the strength to throw him out, she has become so much happier as if released from the chains holding her down. I do hope that you can find that strength so that you can get into a good place in your life.

This is a heartfelt cry for help. I hope you the author can hear that cry yourself.

I am happy in my place
I am happy in my space

Two very important lines there. You are a happy soul until somebody drags you down. Again and again it seems.

Dear poet, if this is your life at the moment, I am sad for you. We were not born into this life to be unhappy. We all have inbuilt joy and should be free to express our joy to the world and one another.

My friends, my soldiers
L. B. Mek said:

what a wonderful dedication
it takes true wisdom, to realise
and appreciate those subtle, nuanced traits
in our friends;
since, sadly - often, what\'s freely shared
is taken for granted: far, far too often

Thank you, I love to hear how my words mean something to each person.
I had a beautiful relationship with my mum but when I look back I could have done more, life ,work, can and does, get in the way. Sadly we don\'t always notice this until it\'s too late. I\'m sure if my mum was asked did I let her down, she\'d smile and with her beautiful blue eyes would look straight at me without hesitation and answer, no, never ❤️

You really touched me with this piece. I like to think I am an open book but there are secret chapters I hide away and hide away from.
Really well considered artful composition.

Into my favourites for sure

That\'s a touching write, with a good message. Sometimes when we are so caught up in our own life and feelings, we don\'t notice the loneliness of others. A life can be saved with a gentle word or touch and showing some care.
