[ Who Says Love Isn’t Scary ]
Accidental Poet said:
Yes love can be scary, but it also can be inspiring. Having faith in love is a risk. But forsaking love only assures loneliness. It\'s human nature to want and need love, giving us the courage to pursue it. A great write Babel. 👍

Finding it difficult to cope with the overarching imagery/analogy HoB, but there\'s a solid crit. in there well argued in strong verse. For that aspect - Thanks.

\'But love doesn’t always equate that way
And it had the machine fooled
It searched through the examples
Finding squares and roots
But no matter the equation
There was nothing there to suit
It took much time to process
For years and months went by
And despite all the facts and logics
There was nothing to apply\'..
sadly, stark reality - is often misunderstood
as dreary, self-loathing misery
but, I think more accurately: there\'s a distinct line
between, those life earned scars
curating our hopeful-nature\'s: calloused naivety
insuring - our survival, treasures
pragmatism\'s wisdom
to help us traverse, a less painful path of life;
and those other\'s, who\'ve - just given up and celebrate
wallowing in that fear stained, puddle
their busily dogpaddling
to stay afloat: in their corner of this chaotic world...!
Sadly, we all - love
like we walk - life:
with vastly differing experiences, insuring
there\'s no right or wrong, that\'s so certain
we just, try to cope and accept each other
as best we can, hoping: it will be enough...
(such an engrossing and genuinely unique - concept
and thank you for inspiring
my little scribbled reply, dear poet)

This is a masterpiece Babel. No mechanical, non-heart beating life form can ever do what love does. Excellently penned Sir.

It seems you do not like religion
Or faith in anything
Nihilistic, loving Relativism
Will leave you rich: the king of all Nothing
True, blind belief is bad
In lies and any falsehoods
But with no belief in God
The only truth is death

\'Life so easily expelled
All existence is in a fracture
Canyons opened up
To the corruption of a cistern
Poison is the water
Yet we drink it as an intern
Burning who we are
Until we’re reduced to a cinder
Shaming us from love\'..
A great write!
insightful and impassioned,
imbued with the power to impact
and hopefully
change a few misguided perceptions

\'That statement, \"Because science\"
The absence of thinking critical
Just another damning faith
For a different type of imbecile
A religion corrupting facts
To conjuring up the mythical
No focus on the factual\'..
(its just so demoralising
almost like we need a \'Voltaire\'
in every generation,
to continually reassert the benefits
of enlightening ourselves
by simply, questioning
their wafer thin: reasoning...)
thanks for sharing, such a timely
and important write, dear poet!
and finally, in the words of logic\'s
champion elect himself, Voltaire:
\'Those who can make you believe absurdities
can make you commit atrocities.\'
\'judge of a *person by their questions
rather than by their answers.\'
