A heart-moving tribute to those who risk their lives for others - - your words present the pain of lost youth so movingly and the read brought me to tears Mozz

For me, you resurrect the echoes of the years over which we have failed to learn the futility of our involvement in overseas conflict.
Yes, bring me the uniform and arms to defend this land I love but present my uniform for overseas to the vacant arms of a politician.

Your words today both sensitive and for some, provocative.

This was quite the wild ride. I enjoyed the realistic depiction of a soldier at war, and the soft tone they take regarding their mother. It\'s a fascinating read and that\'s the mark of a job well-done. And that finishing line, magnifique.

The realism of this post strikes home. Would have been perhaps better placed here on 11th nov or the sunday after but that dioesn\'t detract from it\'s cutting depth.
First class imagery. I have tried several times to portray similar (a few posted here earlier this month) but i think the grit of your writing takes pride of place.
