In Memoriam Of My Mom
Bella Shepard said:
A beautiful tribute to the one who gave you life and love. Just from reading your words I can see that she must have been an exceptional woman and mother.

A lovely poem for his mother,
Simple, but effective indeed,
Like her, there can\'t be another,
Her absence makes us bleed!

\'It is *too* late now for me to be saved
Cover me with dirt to keep me warm\'
lol
what mother does that...?
what a morbid thought
and yet
so relatable, for us who\'ve
witnessed, that cruel face
of fate...
(I related, with you sentiments
I too wonder
if we be born, to be plagued
hated, marginalised and abused
what does our existence, serve
surely
it be easier, for the universe
to just make, punch bags
out of more durable, matter
would last longer
and some of us, wouldn\'t
have to born, to just suffer..)

Who I Have Become
dusk arising said:
Sad to read but maybe it is the beginning of finding the real you. Once you find this reality you can begin to accept who you are and relax into being you. Self love won\'t come by any other process you know.
Looking out upon society there will always be greater and lesser folk than ourselves. Wherever you see yourself in that respect never forget that you have as much right to be here as the stars and the trees. You are a true individual as are each and every one of us.

Suicidal
Crowns4Christ said:
It\'s a horrible feeling, but someday you\'ll feel better, complete, what I did to get over this feeling is that I found my faith in God, I don\'t know what your beliefs are,but it\'s totally worth trying, some here, completely disagree with my views, but God truly turned my life around, look into it, I think it could help,

Suicidal
Paul Bell said:
People always ask the daft question.
Why do you feel suicidal.
I suppose the answer is.
Why not.

Inside Of Me
L. B. Mek said:
yeah, it seems there\'s a part of us
that dies
when we shun that available warmth
afforded, in our lives
and choose
to row our boat, alone
safeguarding
against pains and hurts
that close proximity, tends to bring..
still, every life
deserves to choose, how
they survive and fight
for what meaning, they\'ve gleaned
of life...
(thanks for sharing
stay strong, dear poet)

Wow what a powerful piece.
I felt as if it was written by me for me, definitely have a natural ability to consume your crowd and really make your poetry come to life..
Beautiful! I felt every word and every piece even if it came from a place of pain⦠beautifully written.

Casualty Of War
Paul Bell said:
It\'s nice to know you died gracefully for your Queen and country, and once a year we\'ll respect you. On another note. Depression is a symptom, and needs to be addressed. Hopefully things are on the up. Writing sure helps.

Expressive Decay
L. B. Mek said:
\'I try my best to find a way to the top\'
try removing that second line
out of your poetic mantra of life,
see if it helps any, maybe?
or rather, more productively
replace the word \'the top\' with \'forward\'
maybe your shoulder\'s
will feel a little lighter, that way..
(thanks for sharing
such an intriguing read,
forgive me
if you feel my words, were rude
in any way
I meant no disrespect)
