You are definitely wasting your youth however, if you believe those \'things\' you cite cannot change. Turn your attention outwards and note that things do change, You are in the position to ask how and why. Not easy .Takes time, but can be a very rewarding journey if you become an activist and not wallop around writing poetry at your presumably formative age.
