Brown Skin
Rocky Lagou said:

I must admit, racism is only here for destruction, nothing else. Those who believe that it is the color of one\'s skin that is the problem are the ones who were risen in discombobulated families. Justice and equality isn\'t real until everyone is seen the same, despite color or other superficial factors. I fight for human rights with my poems, and I see you do too. This world is in need of change, not the victims. Stay strong dear poet

Brown Skin
L. B. Mek said:

it is, not
Your Skin
that needs healing
it\'s those warped Mindsets
of a callous world
that has you convinced
your circumstances
are born of your failings, Alone
they\'re not!
It\'s they
who make You
think like that, that
need healing...
Look, around you dear poet
stand proud, tiptoe
if you must
stare back at those accusatory eyes
you see, their snap decision
judgemental idiocy, flicker
and that hatred, unravel...
Beyond those, ugly
faces of fear
exist, true connections
search for them
hunt them down
and see your reflection
for the entity
of diverse individuality, it is
and rejoice
in your brown chocolate
of sweetness and heritage
of defiant, uniqueness...
We, are not our skin
nor our height
or attractiveness
or names
We
are, All
so - so, much more:
\'Its hunting session
And tonight being served are my goals
Alongside ambitions with my happiness as garnish
To those who can\'t seem to accept me for me\'..
so, what
Fuck\'em!
do You!
you have just, one
fleeting life
don\'t waste it
on those, who don\'t
deserve it!!!
(thanks for sharing
stay strong, dear Poet)
