(indeed, with each brave hand
we reach out to the world
we curate our life\'s anchoring roots
plant, our seeds of hope
and watch-on, as those buds grow
from those tears of laughter or woe
we share with each other
watering and thus cultivating
our family tree of brief alliances
confidences, treasured memories
and if we\'re lucky
a handful few, like minded
who choose to share their life with us
and imbue their worth, into our sense of self...)
