Crowned Jewel

A lovely poem putting the crown in the right perspective. Here in Brazil there is an interesting history. When ruled by Portugal Dom Pedro the king he saw that he would loose power and therefore told his son to head the rebellion so that the power would stay in the family. When the time came he abdicated giving power to his son head of the rebellion. His son now king, his brother head of Brazilian colony declared independence and both brothers kept the crown in the family. They say the best form of government is a munificent monarch.

Sweet little tribute to teachers... very clever and succinct. I appreciate how you let the simple words speak for themselves... no commentary necessary.

Golden Raindrops

There is this thing about rain and the cycling of moisture on the earth that brings hope and a constancy that can bring a reliability if only the seasons and the rains along with it are more constant and mild. Thanks for sharing.

That\'s lovely, I love how the moon can be an allegory for someone unreachable, someone so great that our love feels small in comparisation. Great work!
