Ahh much to digest in this poem. It speaks with words neither sound or light to the personal the relationship and social. What came to mind first was how in a land that was founded on acceptance we now close our borders and do not hear the pleas of those outside. Yet on a more persoal basis it is true as well. A very philisophical write.

A clever play on words that becomes a verse that can be taken many ways. Nicely framed and well written in few words.

Beautiful lines great images in what seems a metaphor for age but if literal a great representation of the seasons. Nicely done

So nicely worded this evokes emotions accompanying past memories from a privative origin. Fire and community go way back and seem archetypal in nature. Nicely done

Classical in nature this poem carries its message to the grave for many. Yet for those that know the story it holds great meaning. Nicely done.

A not only beautifully imaged write but metaphorically deep in meaning. This is so well done in its pacing and rhythm drawing one on like the beat of a drum. Could we all be \"the child that forgot the other end\"?
