Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as if some strange thing happen to you.

My Thoughts

I appreciate the irony of one who can think of nothing to write composing this short but stirring little soliloquy. I love your pen name... I read and studied Greek pastoral poetry back in the day, so any hint of a flute, syrinx, tin whistle, ocarina, pan pipe, or fife brings back those days of discovery.

Oswald Garden
The Fife Wanderer said:

This is a poem I wrote about my local park how it was many many years ago, sadly over the last 30 years it has become nothing more than a unused green space. We formed the development group in 2022 to bring the park back to its former glory and are now well on the way to doing so.

Thank you for your kind comments, I will most certainty have a read of your work 🙏

Alcohol Free
L. B. Mek said:

yeah, so easy to lose control
pints with friends
turning to a few more at home
to keep that warm feeling alive
then its gets a hold on people
they stay home, drink alone
now alcohol is anchor to all that
cold and barren in their lives..
such a scary, stealthy poison
wouldn\'t wish it on my worst enemy
but it seems like you stopped early
before it got too out of control
you must be proud
such a hard thing to achieve,
wish you the best!
thanks for sharing dear poet
