The Green Village Liturgy

Love this reptilian approach to the extremes sin and salvation and us in the middle. I thought that you would have added a monitor to watch what we do. Maybe a lizard in a blizzard, a wizard or gizzard or two. A poignant read and fun as well.

Adieu
sorenbarrett said:
This seems not only a real visit to the past but an adieu to childhood itself that we all must leave and only memories remain. Nicely penned

I Should Be There

I like very much the separation created between the here and there of desire and reality. We create images of ourselves that become rigid with time and are hard to break but desire to be something more resides inside this mold. I can hear its longing to be set free in this poem. The ability of this poem to loose that feeling into words is what gets the fave

Your Loved Self

Wow! a most amazing poem of a great commandment that so few keep. The finishing touch is the loving of oneself for one can not give what one does not have is the last mile that gets the fave

This love poem has a most interesting rhyme scheme that seems to vary. It\'s complexity and unpredictability leaves it with an expectant quality. Nicely done

The Pale Profitable Christ

Magnificent in its power this poem represents the statue calling out the hypocrisy of religion used to justify crimes against the humanity it stands for. Man has always found a way to twist what is holy to meet his needs. With the use of metaphor and images this write contrasts images of love with those of villainy and self interest. Very nicely compoosed it is a fave
