A game no one can play

A well written poem with such a great message. Love is not a game as many think or paint in ink. So nicely the words were said no one should be offended. Sorry for the little rant it just seemed to com out.

A beautiful poem about a cherished pet. I have had several pets in the past that became close to my heart and I felt were part of my soul. Very nicely written.

The caged bird. My Uncle George had a canary called Pippy. As a seven year old I realized they had something in common. George was confined to a wheelchair and Pippy to his cage. I knew at that age, a bird is born to fly. This is a beautiful poem Saleh. Thank you for the memories.

Good Deeds
Cassie58 said:

Kindness is such a fine attribute Saleh, and easily remembered too. Not one of us is without sin. Remorse is acknowledging that and hoping we are forgiven for any hurts we have been responsible for. Another fine write from you.

My comments on the poem “The hummingbird made me wonder” by Saleh Ben Saleh
Watching the hummingbird sucking up its food is a fascinating sight. The bird is full of confidence and poise. It maintains its posture, staying at the right height and distance from the flower. It beats its wings just to stay on the spot, as a helicopter hovers. It does not barge into the flower, or it will damage it and spoil what it is looking for. Notice how it folds its feet and keeps its body in balance while hovering. A machine can hardly have such grace. As for finding a wife, many birds build nests and wait for a mate, but not all of them are lucky in this. However, like other creatures, they have hope. For it is this that helps to ensure the reproduction of the species. This instinct is hardwired in all species. Soman Ragavan. 4 August, 2024.

We have much as a species to learn. We haven’t got a clue when it comes to living alongside other species. So much damage done to creatures of the ocean and land as well as our avian friends. Heartfelt words, deeply felt Saleh.

A wonderful and inspired message here. How many times some catch the meaning of a poem while it sails over the head of others. Yes the rue mark of art is communicating what is inside and others feeling the emotion within. Brilliant!
