Deeply revealing and open. This poem paints the feeling of being exhibited naked and numb with all of oneself calcified. Nicely written

The Age that took our purpose.

Deeply metaphoric this poem personifies the shadows. Indeed the second stanza has deep meaning. Yes the harvest is the given meaning of life to most. I love the concept of a gold cage for progress for that fits so well my concept of technology and its gilded comforts that trap us. The final stanza speaks of immortality but paired with a feeling of it being traded for a feeling of purposelessness. I have always said if offered the choice between a long life of misery or no purpose or a short one of purpose and joy I would take the latter. Quality over quantity for me. Very nicely written and a fave

The World forgot it\'s shape.
Thomas W Case said:

This has a bleak, damn hypnotic atmosphere, with the collapsing city and fermenting yesterday making the whole world feel trapped in decay. The final line hits hard—it turns the poem from an apocalyptic scene into a brutal question about whether repetition is really living.

The World forgot it\'s shape.

There is a feeling of purposelessness in this world where the past sours and one is isolated and not heard. Meaningless repetition leads to nowhere a treadmill where one finds oneself always in the same place. I like the fifth stanza that states this so well. Here the stone audience has no interest in listening less still understanding. No one hears the siren. Out of this rubble we call life we see the hoax but call it life too because others do and anything else they would not understand. A deep and dark write.

The Mouth of Meaning

Creative, this poem sees life as a wound open and raw. One can feel such wounds if suffering is our purpose. A thought provoking write.

There is deterioration in this write, corruption and rot returned to earth not mistaken but true. Well done

Read Me.

So many offer this courtesy in hopes that the other will return the favor but I will tell you from experience that it happens about one in four. But the wonder is that the more one reads the more one understands and the more one enjoys it for its own sake until one is reading for oneself again and it doesn\'t matter whether others read yours or not. You glean from what you read. A very nice poem with a bit of self insight. Lovely

A great metaphor here or maybe an allegory. Nicely written it flows well to the last line.

Strange how work leads to thoughts of suicide.
You are not being stimulated in your job the psychologist would say.
I usually just think of killing people at work, cheers me up no end.

This poem has a sadness a feeling of not belonging and as with a blue sky blue hair may lead to purple if mixed in blood. Well written
