Wow. I love this...it is so sweet and comprehensive...succinct? Reminded me of what the Lord said in the sermon on Mars Hill in Acts 17..."...though He be not far from every one of us...." Excellent...I really like this poem of yours!!!!

My Last Riddle
Cheeky Missy said:

Not funny. Cold, deadly, and dreadfully chilling! La, and reading it, am I complicit in the suicide? Or did I miss the riddle? hmm...rereading it, I think I must've...but what IS the answer?

Oh, sweet! I love the title...makes me smile, so aptly stated. Your comment offered insight on this cute little sad poem....and gave all the more sense to his blindness for it is the old "love is blind" scenario.
I beg to differ though, I've been discovering lately, it seems, that we (or at least, I) cannot but be blind while IN the relationship...regardless how the facts scream in your face, regardless how reasonable you try to be, yet somehow, you never really see until you are completely out of it. Not until you are no longer in it, can you see what you never did in the midst of it. Thus when considering my dilemmas, or trying to reason others out of wherever, I've begun to realize it's next to impossible; for we cannot truly see until we are no longer in it....maybe we can see snatches while involved, but not the ugly reality until we are out. At least that is what I'm seeing lately. Hence, maybe "love" IS blind.
Anyway, my two bits was rather long, hahaha. I love the title and enjoyed this piece, thanks too for the explanatory comment with it.

Oh, sweet! I love this one....short and sweet, and on one of my favourite pastimes. I keep praying some of my dreams will turn into reality....but ah, they're just dreams.

Wow. It is very sad. You conveyed the heartbroken state very well. 'Tis an awful picture you painted. Curiously she rather sounds like a demon, the way you are characterizing her charms...if they might even be termed such. Fascinating. And miserable....I hope it is not for real, for it is such a horrible tormented condition.

A Final Dream

Aw. It is so sweet...bittersweet. And it seems a familiar scene....I think Sir Philip Sydney, and I forget who else, of the famous past poets, likewise lamented such a grief...seeing her only too brilliantly in their dreams....ah, what a very sad story. I hope it is not for real.
