Being a parent, your poem broke my heart, wonderfully written, and in the end, try is all we can do!

I am going with a wild guess here! Was taught a long time ago to think outside of the box. So here we go:
A banana and a banana peel! Ever looked at a banana without peel? Looks awfully bare and exposed!!!

WELCOME LEAH ~ Thanks for challenging first poem ! The answer to your dilemma lies in the question "Am I prepared to meet my GOD ?" On the Day of Judgement we will stand before GOD divested of all our worldly goods and honours and achievements. God only has two answers "Depart from Me i never knew you !" or "Well done you were a good and faithful servant ~ enter into the Joy of the Lord". How well we knew God in this life ~ will determine how well he knows us in the next. A challenging question ~ thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
