The effect of divorce and separation on the Partner is bad enough but it is devastating for the Children. Every Daughter deserves a Daddy ~ indeed every Daughter needs a Daddy for their mutual pride and fulfillment ! Your poem outlines the situation perfectly form the perspective of an 8 year old Girl. She even blames herself "where did I go wrong ?" If this is autobiographical thanks for having the courage to share. I'm 33 and I still need my Parents so I know how you must feel.
