MY LOVE!!!

Beautiful poem! I had been thinking about it and I remember the way I felt about giving the feel to give something it's precious just for giving it, to enjoy, to understand, to remember and to love. Just as we all want to give also we enjoy the feeling it evokes to share.
Thank you for sharing this.

Hope!
Cheeky Missy said:

The image is so perfect...is it for real? Ya, we need hope to keep going and not give up....generally we set little goals, long-term goals, yet since this life is vain and full of vanities, our hopes are likewise rather vain, even if we receive what we are hoping for....only if by the grace and mercy of the Lord God, He gives us Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ as our Hope, will we never be disappointed...for He is faithful and all His promises are sure. Excellent point you made in your "author's comment"..... and excellent concluding lines...we do need to keep fueling the lamp to keep it burning! It is very nicely written, well-done, and I enjoyed it!

LOVE HURTS!

Very fascinating.....in response to your author's comment....we seriously contemplate joining them, and continue existing, learning somehow to live without them, seeing we must, since we did not expire when they did. It is an awful situation, which I occasionally dread, and the only true, real comfort is the Lord Jesus Christ. Is the image a cup of tea? The poem is intriguing....what one way did the departed NOT adopt that will lead the one left behind to them? You described the miserable condition well. Great job!

CERTAIN TIMES

Very interesting, fascinating, contemplative philosophical call to grab the future with both hands and not just sit by wondering why we forever fail,.....alleging our lives are in our own hands for the making or breaking.....it is a very serious consideration, and one so many try to answer. What about the fact that "....time and chance happeneth to...all.."? While we may well try....yet so far as I can see, our times are in the Lord God's hands....which is not a defeatist recognition, nor should deaden us to striving, yet and all, it cannot be fought against successfully. I quite enjoyed this piece....it seems something we all must come to terms with....and find the truth on, if the Lord will grant it.
