God scatters beauty as he scatters flowers
O'er the wide earth, and tells us all are ours.
A hundred lights in every temple burn,
And at each shrine I bend my knee in turn.

Comments1WOW, THIS POEM REALLY STRUCK A CORD WITH ME. THE IMAGERY OF GOD SCATTERING BEAUTY LIKE FLOWERS ACROSS EARTH... SO VISCERAL AND DEEP. REALLY MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT THE BEAUTY AND MAJESTY AROUND US ALL. THANK GOODNESS FOR POEMS LIKE THIS!
