"Boy, lying
Where the long grass
Edges the pool's brim,
What do you watch
There in the water? The blue
Colour of Heaven
Mirrored, repeated? the brown
Tree-trunks and branches
Waveringly imaged? These,
Boy, do you watch?"
"Nay but mine eyes;
Nay but the trouble
Deep in mine eyes."
