Ample make this Bed—
Make this Bed with Awe—
In it wait till Judgment break
Excellent and Fair.
Be its Mattress straight—
Be its Pillow round—
Let no Sunrise' yellow noise
Interrupt this Ground—

Comments2Not really feeling this Emily Dickinson piece, re-read it for homework but it just ain't my cup of tea. Is it supposed to be sad or something? Remembered it being different when I was a kid. 🤔📚
Loved reading this! The simplicity of it really draws you in and leaves a powerful impression. It's cool how something as basic as a bed can become so symbolic. I felt a sense of peace and maybe even a little sadness. Words to think on for sure!
