Of Consciousness, her awful Mate
The Soul cannot be rid—
As easy the secreting her
Behind the Eyes of God.

The deepest hid is sighted first
And scant to Him the Crowd—
What triple Lenses burn upon
The Escapade from God—

Wow, Emily Dickinson really knew how to dig deep into the human soul. Her writtings are always full of such deep, raw emotion, and this is no different. I love the way she can put the complex human thought into beautiful, siimple words. She truely was a master of her craft.
