Invisible

Lorna

I am such a tiny cog

A little puff of smoke

That with some wiggles on a page

Reaches out to folks

I do not mind my being small

I do not mind at all

I'd rather be invisible

Than anything at all

I too can see you Lorna.

It amused me to see the ink and quill as I have just come back in with some fresh calligraphy inks.

I see you too. Nothing wrong with being small. Sometimes that's the best of all!

  • dusk arising

Small as you wish to be, you reach out big to us readers.
Why does the fine writer wish invisibility? I know you not, but from words you place here, chinks of you appear. They are not frightening or ugly, and i keep looking.

Thanks Dusk - don't take too seriously - it's just something that popped into my head......... replace "invisible" with "peace of mind"..............

And so it should be - it's not who you are but what you are - great work Lorna

Thanks Michael - don't know about great work - it seemed to mightily upset people.... it was meant lightly..... "all about me!!!!!"..... hate that.

Thanks Laura - I'm laughing...... when one walks around the house and doesn't make noise is someone there? If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears, does it fall? Just a lot of nonsense.

          • Laura🌻

A good lot of nonsense nonetheless!🤗

Yes, we see you, and see the fine poem too!

            • Lorna

I'm hiding behind the palm tree, peeking out and saying "very interesting"....... (remember Laugh In?)

              Well expressed
But I'm afraid I see you so much more than this, although happy for you to sit where you wish.

Hahaha what a tune with a film that brings lots of memories. That was a wicked little jig, from my head down to my feet even got me off my seat.
