I am such a tiny cog
A little puff of smoke
That with some wiggles on a page
Reaches out to folks
I do not mind my being small
I do not mind at all
I'd rather be invisible
Than anything at all
I am such a tiny cog
A little puff of smoke
That with some wiggles on a page
Reaches out to folks
I do not mind my being small
I do not mind at all
I'd rather be invisible
Than anything at all

I too can see you Lorna.
It amused me to see the ink and quill as I have just come back in with some fresh calligraphy inks.
I see you too. Nothing wrong with being small. Sometimes that's the best of all!
Small as you wish to be, you reach out big to us readers.
Why does the fine writer wish invisibility? I know you not, but from words you place here, chinks of you appear. They are not frightening or ugly, and i keep looking.
Thanks Dusk - don't take too seriously - it's just something that popped into my head......... replace "invisible" with "peace of mind"..............
And so it should be - it's not who you are but what you are - great work Lorna
Thanks Michael - don't know about great work - it seemed to mightily upset people.... it was meant lightly..... "all about me!!!!!"..... hate that.
Lorna,
Great video with a great message as is your fine “little” penned poem! Enjoyed it!
~Laura~
Thanks Laura - I'm laughing...... when one walks around the house and doesn't make noise is someone there? If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears, does it fall? Just a lot of nonsense.
A good lot of nonsense nonetheless!🤗
Yes, we see you, and see the fine poem too!
I'm hiding behind the palm tree, peeking out and saying "very interesting"....... (remember Laugh In?)
Well expressed
But I'm afraid I see you so much more than this, although happy for you to sit where you wish.

Hahaha what a tune with a film that brings lots of memories. That was a wicked little jig, from my head down to my feet even got me off my seat.
Good now you're All Shook Up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATDJ8VPJG5s
That so funny I took the violin to the beach and I've not picked it up for well over six months and the first one I remember was only fools rush in, so I nervously started and was shocked to hear someone say "that's quite good" I guess you could say I was all shook up! Lol
I play with the harmonica that way - but never in front of people........ I love the solitary sound..... I pretend I'm a cowgirl keeping the cattle quiet on a summer night........ who needs reality..........
