Tune: Lyngham
('O for a thousand tongue to sing')
Psalm 47
Repeat lines as shown.
********
O clap your hands, you people all
Upon the Lord do call (x2)
Shout unto God, triumphant voice
You have made Him your choice (x3)
For He the LORD, most high, terrible
To the awesome God call (x2)
He is a great King o'er all the earth
Praise Him, give Him His worth (x3)
He shall subdue our enemies
And so each one then sees (x2)
That He is Lord high over all
Trusting, you shall not fall (x3)
He shall choose our inheritance
And there be His presence (x2)
He chooses, gives things excellent
All from His good hand sent (x3)
For He His people loves ,for them cares
Each in His bounties shares (x2)
God is gone up with a strong shout
Let trumpets sound ring out (x3)
Sing praises to God, e'en your praise
With understanding raise (x2)
Your joyful songs unto your King
Let every tongue now sing (x3)
God reigns o'er all the nations, see
He sits on His throne, He (x2)
The holy God for evermore
Come worship and adore (x3)

PSALM 47 v 1 ~ AMEN
It's just as well we are both attending CHARISMATIC CHURCHES ! Clapping in Church what next. ANGELA has taken her TAMBOURINE to NZ ~ The MAORIS love it ! Every Blessing i all your meanderings ~ BRIAN & ANGELA XXXX
Yes, cough, splutter. Clapping in church? And tambourines?! Heretical! People will choke on their coffee after the service! heehee. I'm a bit of a mixture. Dunno what I do want sometimes. Charismatic, formal, or what?
I thought I had already replied to this one. Another good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold. You, or anyone, getting any tambourines out today?! Some drums sit (unused) in a corner of a church. Dunno if they are ever used, as the average age of congregation looks about 90. Will they have a rave-up?!
