Reading in my garden

Crystal Hope

Pleasant smells awaken my senses
as I turn each page.
My mind is in great thought
along with the age.

All I hear is wind drafting at the trees.
and birds singing a sweet, gracious tune.
I retrieved a book from my library
because I wanted to read that afternoon.

Reading in my garden is such a delight.
I lay here and glaze at the flowers
as I unravel every page of my book.
I do this this for countless hours.

Nature arouses our very being, and has been the source of my many writings.
    Keep them coming.
