- Comment from author about the poem: There were so many different songs that I wanted to attach. Each would have shifted the interpretation of the poem. I guess that is the point. I went with inside in the end. But my second choice would have been Grace U2 It's an interesting battle going on inside my head this morning!

In truth I think I was writing a little satirically about the British tight lipped nature of keeping things locked up inside, keeping up appearances so to say.
I fear this strength will be the undoing of me.
So secretly I come here and pour out all that I hold within so that indeed I can walk away feeling lighter.
