Autumn leaves,

a whisper of snow,

the warmth from the fire

as the red embers glow .

 

Night fall comes

in shades of gray and black

not a star shining

as the clouds push them back

 

I reminess

as the day goes by

our love reminds me

of the colors of the sky

 

Gray and black

not a star in sight

i knew our love was over

this very night ...
