Endless like the crashing of waves
Like the rising of light
And bringing of night
Endless like a mad girl's love song
Like a pain never heeling
An unreachable feeling
Endless like the universe
Ever reaching
Eternally seeking
Endless like your eyes at my soul
Lighting up the dark
Aching hiding playful spark
Endless like a star never fading
By the laws of physics nevermore seen
Still burning brighter, endless dream
Why are you endless?
You asked, so softly I say
I am endless like hope
At rise and fall of each day
Why am I endless?
I await your reply
Your silence is endless
But my hope will not die
