There it sits before me,
A visual image of delight.
The whites, yellows and browns
Intermixing into a visual paradise
That pulls me into it.
The more I progress
The more I see,
The more I see in my mind.
I become lost from my world
Becoming found in the artists world.
I look, I see, I feel,
Feel what?
Feel emotion
As the picture pulls me,
Pulls me into the ether
And takes me towards infinity.

- Comment from author about the poem: As many of you know I like Michael Edwards' art work and his abstracts really speak to me. A few days a a package arrived and it was one of Michael's abstracts that he has given to me. This overwhelmed me I am so very grateful to him. Thank you so very much Michael, as I said in my letter I am getting it framed and have the ideal spot to hang it in our house. The poem is for Michael and the artwork is the one he sent to me.

A fine write and pic Gold. One thing that comes to my mind with the pic is a bumble bee or wasp on a yellow flower.
You making early preparations for 1066 reunion?!
Thank you Orchi, I can read many things into that artwork.
Yes I am sharpening my sward (sic) and polishing my shied (sic).
I am so pleased it arrived okay and that you have the right spot for it - my pleasure Andy. There is nothing greater than to know that one of my works is appreciated. And thank you for the great verse - and also for the video of one of my favourite composers of all time - Divenire is one of my favourites of his and which I heard him play in concert in this country - it was bliss.
My absolute pleasure Michael.
I can picture you sat staring at scrambled egg with a dash of worcestershire sauce blissfully lost whilst your meal goes cold.
Alternatively mesmerised by the swirl of a chocolate swirl ice cream sundae as it melts. Quick, get the camera!
Thank you so much da, you understand.
Maybe because I'm hungry I see custard and cake, different strokes for different folks. Great to read your poems again. MaggieF
