Seasons come and seasons go
Bringing with them ice and snow
Slush and mud and wind and hail
Rain that's falling by the pail
Microbursts and tornadoes
Tsunamis and volcanoes
Landslides, sinkholes, avalanches
Fallen trees and broken branches
Stop! I think I see some blue
I don't know what that is
Do you?

Love the flow in this gem of an ode to inclement weather . Great read Lorna dear friend.
Thanks precious!
That's a lot of weather there Lorna!
Just brilliant not only for the smile but also for the construction - love Lorna.
Oops there should have been an 'it' between 'love' and 'Lorna'. Well maybe not 🙂 🙂
I'll take it! Either way!
Very good write, the light is always there.
The Flanders and Swann song is quite o a coincidence as I heard one on the radio this morning and gave written a poem about it which I will post tomorrow.
