Tune: Doncaster
('Put thou thy trust in God')
Ephesians 1 v.19-20
*********
Here now be encouraged
You are blessed, privileged
A child of God, if believing
In Jesus for each thing
Each thing of salvation
Open to each nation
In you the Holy Spirit dwells
And of God's glory tells
He be the same power
That God wrought in that hour
When Christ His Son He raised from dead
He now our living Head
Exceeding great His power
Come seek Him for a shower
Or an outpouring, what your need
He shall meet full indeed

I wrote this to fill in a 'missed page' in a notebook. It turned out to be a powerful little piece, I think! We all need 'oomph' but it's not human effort.
Orchi,
...“oomph”...
is needed...especially today on September 11th! Just think of me attending today’s memorial along with a few thousand others!
Thank you for the share!
~Laura~
Thanks Laura.

I genuinely hope I get to see the end of the world some day. But hey, here's to living a little longer eh? Glad to see your still sticking with it my fine furry friend. May your Lord bless you with the will to keep writing as you do. It truly is a wonderful thing to come back from an absence to see you still writing.
Thanks Nicholas. I obtained a watchdog now - Fido! He barks severely at anyone not marking up poems as 18+ if they should be! Much more of this and we'll go barmy! heehee.
