Showers For Flowers

When a shower is over

All is fresh and clean

And grasses and the clovers

Show so very green

Lawns are pretty again

And pastures have their hay

With the growth of the two

From the rainy day

The sun shines again

And helps the grass along

And warms the flowers then

To grow where they belong

Roses grow in their beds

And a shower quenches them

Soon ready for a vase

With love the message sent

Showers make the flowers

And regularly we choose

To spend a day in flower beds

Having gotten a shower new

Lovely write w c. We may rescue a flower head with a short stalk, that has fallen off a plant. We know it will die off in a few days, but still rescue it and put it in water. Or wear it as a button-hole?

Thanks, orchidee. Rescued flowers are most beautiful, and they brighten-up a room.

          the showers
          are heavens tears
          upon the flowers.
          they are so beautiful!
it makes me want to cry.
